The story of the SR80x holds a special place in not only our ears, but the ears of hundreds of thousands of listeners. The first pair was built in 1991 and we wouldn’t be here today without it. With its soundstage, world renowned mid-range, and speed, the SR80x is worthy of being the longest running Grado headphone.
I friggen love these headphones. they're the first set of Audiophile headphones I've ever purchased and I absolutely L O V E them
All of my friends love how beautifully wide they sound

They only work when on the head.
The sound quality often has me, for a moment thinking I am back in my last home, which was completely wired for sound, excellent sound, causing me to feel, for a moment, that I am Bach (not a typo, bad humor), there. Then reality hits and I appreciate the sound that much more.
The only downfall is having them fit snugly on my head. I am unable to get snug ear coverage which minimizes the totality of the sound. The little plastic nubs which fit on the ends of the posts which secure the earpieces to the headband itself. They easily pulled loose. I was told to use a bit of glue on each post and secure the nibs. Didn't work. I now have to be overly careful when using them.

love the stereo imaging
SR80x headphones: clean sound and remarkable stereo imaging. I've noticed that the better the recording, the more they impress. And so affordable.

I enjoy the sound, but I keep getting this buzzing in my left ear. It's bearable, but a bit annoying when I'm trying to get into the music.
