Step into an auditory realm like never before with the Grado GT220 wireless earbuds, a departure from the traditional Grado over-ear headphones but no less exceptional. The GT220 holds its own with a stunning matte black case, a departure from the commonplace shiny alternatives. Its minimalist design boasts a touch-based system, eliminating the need for complex button-tapping, making it an intuitive choice even for those averse to tech complexities.
The fit is nothing short of perfect, with the smallest earbud tip securing snugly in your ears, offering both comfort and an impressive level of passive noise cancellation. The absence of visible buttons doesn’t compromise functionality; a simple touch on the right bud skips tracks, while holding it adjusts the volume.
Grado’s decision to forgo frills like active noise canceling and EQ options pays off with an extended battery life of six hours per charge and remarkable sound quality that rivals our over-ear counterparts. The signature Grado sound, renowned for its depth and richness, shines through, elevating your music to new heights. The bass resonates with unparalleled clarity, whether it’s the thudding drums of “Gold Digger” or the vibrant steel guitar of Robert Randolph.
While over-ear headphones may still reign supreme in extended wear and audio fidelity, the GT220 brings an intensity and immediacy to wireless earbuds that sets them apart. Embrace the convenience of wireless earbuds without sacrificing sound quality. The GT220 offers a compelling option for those seeking a superior auditory experience. If the sound quality has deterred you from wireless earbuds in the past, the Grado GT220 might just be the game-changer you’ve been waiting for. Immerse yourself in the music, rediscover your favorites, and let the GT220 redefine your wireless listening experience.
Battery life is a major focus for us. With 36 hours of listening, the GT220 are up for anything from a subway ride to work to your next coast-to-coast flight. The true wireless headphones hold 6 hours of playtime, while their case can charge them back up 5x over.

Customer Reviews
When looking for wireless earbuds, I immediately went for Grado because of the attention to detail. The sound is some of the best on the market. Hi resolution audio sounds phenomenal. The fit in the ear canal is snug. The touch takes some getting used to but becomes second nature. I've bought from them before ( rs2e and a wooden cartridge) plus they're from Brooklyn NY. The only complaint is lack of ldac, everything else is solid.
The GT220 brings out the bass so defined ; the midrange is clear and importantly volume with keeping the clarity , of course when the source is good . It soars!
I bought these about a year ago so I could have GPS and music on my motorcycle. They block the exhaust and wind noise quite well while not completely blocking out the world, so they're not a hindrance in traffic. They have great sound across the entire range and don't over-emphasize anything, being well suited for classical to heavy metal. Voice is crystal clear, even when my iPhone interrupts music to give GPS directions.
My only complaint about them is the capacitance touch. If I'm in a steady environment (temperature and humidity), they're fine. If I'm in an environment where it's cold and/or humid, the touch goes absolutely crazy, turning the volume up and down randomly while starting and stopping music. I've tried everything I can think and contacted Grado to try and get the touch capacitance to require more interaction to no avail. Unpair the earbuds, reset the earbuds, electrical tape over the ear buds, you name it. No joy. Sometimes this even happens when I'm just sitting at home listening to music, too.
Overall, had they been released with software for the iPhone that could disable and enable the touch capacitance, they'd be a solid 10/10 for me. Unfortunately, the touch features causing them to go nuts occasionally knocks them down to 6/10 in my book because it's that annoying and unpredictable. Sound-wise, they're definitely an easy 8/10. I can't fault a manufacturer for someone using their product in a manner that probably never occurred to them, though.
First off, I love these ear buds. By far the best I’ve ever owned. They sound great, and block out a lot of background noise.
The battery life is a lot longer than anything else I’ve ever had before. Both the ear buds and the charging case have a super long battery life.
I did have a small issue, but I emailed the company. I got a response in about an hour and my issue was resolved just as fast.
I have never had customer service this amazing before. The response was quick, friendly and helpful.
I’ll definitely be back to purchase more products from them. The American made quality and customer service is far better than I expected.
I’ll never waste money on cheaper ear buds again.
Short review: Love them, buy them.
Long review:
The good/great-Superior natural sounding buds, with the exception of custom-made iems' (in-ear monitors-pro performing audio buds) nothing I have tried, comes close to the sonic joy this wireless product offers, also I find the fit to be very comfortable, and the passive noise reduction is very effective.
The bad(?)-A little pricey but a bargain for the sonic payoff. Pairing is sometimes finicky but not often enough to be an issue. When receiving a phone call I have to choose the grados as the audio option, oddly I do not have to when making a call also not the primary reason I use these buds.
The ugly-They blink every 30 sec or so when in use and every second when in pause mode, is this an issue? meh, on the next iteration hopefully the design team will temper the led blinking.
The misc-For those that lament the lack of an app to fiddle with and squash the audio in a million worse ways, this is not the product for you, there is plenty of beautiful expensive terrible sounding time wasting products out there, I know, I have many, trust me you will not miss them, these sound great a' la carte. Battery life is very good I can go all day with these and the case holds multiple charges.
The end-These I reach for to enjoy music, I have higher-end audio equipment I use often and while no bluetooth products compare to the sound of high-quality wired phones through a great hifi system, these are by far the top-of-their-class.
